DEACON BOARD

Be encouraged

December
3rd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Women: Exodus 15:2 “The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
Dear Women: This is such a strong statement for us dear ladies. It is such a great assurance. The Lord is our strength and He has become our salvation. We can fully rely on the strength that comes from God. It is powerful and always available. This strength is much bigger and more reliable than our own strength. No matter what you are going through right now. Make use of the strength of God and you can go through any storm that is coming your way. He is your salvation, no matter if there is a big or a small problem that you are facing right now. Remember there is power in praising and worshiping God. He is your personal God, praise Him. Exalt Him. Love Him. We are now in the Christmas Season. We are celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let that beautiful Spirit of Christmas reign in your homes. Give God all the Glory and see what will happen.

2nd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Youth: John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Dear Youth: Today I have heard again and again about Jesus the light. Let us take a closer look at light. If you would close your eyes right now, would you find the way to the kitchen, or to your room? Would you be able to pour a glass of water? Probably not without hurting yourself. When you open your eyes, all these things are east pp do because there is light and you can see. It is the same way with Jesus. He is our light in this dark world. He is the light that shines in the Darkness. When we are lost He shines the way for us. When we are in trouble He shines the way for us. When we feel hopeless, He will shine the way for us. Let God’s light shine into your life. It will give you a direction to go to. It will show you the way that if full of joy and peace. God bless you!

1st Sunday
Deaconboard to the Seniors: Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Dear Seniors: As we grow older we learn more and more how important peace is in our lives. And if we also learn that it is the peace of God that is most valuable, we have learned a good lesson. We can have the peace of Christ as our permanent possession if we have a relationship with God. As we abide in Christ, we can have peace in Him every day. Dear seniors, hold on and continue to abide in Christ, continue to depend on His guidance. I am convinced that even in the midst of the worst storms, the peace of God which surpasses all understanding is yours to keep. Continue to choose that the peace of God is bigger that any worries. The peace of God is bigger than any pain. The peace of God is bigger than any loneliness. We pray that if anything is hindering that peace in your hearts, that God will show you and that you will turn away from that hindrance. God bless you!

4th Sunday
Deaconboard to the Men: Matthew 6:5-6 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

2nd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Youth: Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Dear youth: One thing you should keep in mind: You are called by God. Therefore you can rely on God giving you the strength you need to be strong and courageous. You do not have to depend on human strength, but you can depend on the supernatural strength coming directly from God. In this scripture God is talking to Joshua who is to take over the duty to lead God’s people into the Promised Land. Sometimes a task might seem too big for you to handle, but keep in mind that God will give you a helping hand. He will provide all you need to fulfill the task. Continue o praise Him and give Him all the Glory. God bless you.

November
1st Sunday
Deaconboard to the Seniors: Psalms 92:12-15 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; 13 planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, 15 proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”
Dear seniors: Hallelujah! What a great scripture to encourage you all. Even at old age you shall still bear fruit. You shall stay fresh and green. Continue to proclaim the goodness of the Lord Jesus. The Word of God teaches us here that even if the body grows older and may ache every now and then, you do not have to grow old in your heart and mindset. You have just grown wiser and added value to your heart and mindset. If you announce that Jesus is your Rock, it is from the bottom of your sincere heart, because it is a praise filled with experience. Hold on to your faith. It is the source of bearing fruit and staying fresh and green. God bless you.

October

4th Sunday
Deaconboard to the Men: Isaiah 43:1 But now, this is what the Lord says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
Dear Men: God has never forsaken the Israelites and He has never forsaken you. This verse was meant to encourage the Israelites and today it is meant to encourage you. You are God redeemed people. He loves you very much and He will not leave you. He called you by your name. God is saying to you ‘fear not’, although sometimes we don’t do what we should, we need to remember these words from God. God has redeemed us through the blood of Jesus. The price was paid. We need to say that we are sorry and turn from our wicked ways. God is waiting with open arms to receive us whole heartedly.

3rd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Women: Ruth 1:16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.
Dear Women: What a great book, especially for women. We can learn so much from this book. Here in this verse we can learn about selfless love, Naomi asked Ruth to leave here. Out of her selfless love for Ruth, she asked her to go, for the best of Ruth. The same way, Ruth has a great selfless love for. She did not want to leave her mother –in-law alone. She also learned to love the new God from Naomi and Ruth wanted to stay with the family God had put her in. Ruth considered Naomi her family and did not want to leave her. We also learn in this scripture that she considered Naomi’s people her own people and Naomi’s God her God. What an awesome testimony. Let us learn from that. God bless you!

2nd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Youth: Acts 2:17-21 “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 20 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. 21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
Dear Youth: You are so important to God. You are so important in the church. The role you have in the church is so special and valuable. Here in these verses God Himself says that He is pouring out His Spirit on all people. That includes you. God loves and very much appreciates your praises unto Him. The way you let the Holy Spirit use you is so unique ad very much appreciated. Continue to use the Word of God to gain strength, wisdom and knowledge. Continue to let Him give you courage dear young people. Continue to walk in the light of Jesus. Continue to walk in the awareness of the presence of the Holy Spirit. God loves you and so do we.

September

4th Sunday
Deaconboard to the Men: James 1:2-3 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
Dear Men: We all prefer to have a life that has a smooth course. But that is not what it is like. Everybody has trials in their lives. Everybody has ups and downs. We are told in the Bible to count it all joy, meaning the ups and the downs both. With God on our side we can really do that. We can count every trial as joy. We also learn in this bible verse that trials produce perseverance or patience. Let us be thankful for everything in our live. It will teach us patience. It is good to have patience. God is very patient with us, let us also be patient with ourselves, our neighbors and also with God. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. God bless you!

3rd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Women: John 4:7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?”
Dear Women: Back then Jews would not associate with Samaritans. Does that sound familiar? We still have that today. This group will not associate with this group and that group will not associate with the other group. Here in John 4 we learn from Jesu by talking to this awesome woman that separation between races, gender or any other group is not what God wants for us. He wants us all to be united and one in Him. Jesus overcame racism, he overcame prejudice and we have to follow Him in this way. Ladies, let us be that good example and do away with separation. Let us show the world that we are one, that we are one in Christ. God bless you and keep you. You are a chosen vessel just like the woman at the well.

2nd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Youth: I Samuel 3:9-10 So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.10 The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
Dear Youth: With this pandemic, you too are going through rough times. Sometimes it seems like you are being overlooked, but be assured you are not! You are very important people. God loves young people very much. He called Samuel when he was only a boy. There are other examples, like Joseph, God showed him great things even though he was the youngest. Even Jesus started His mission at a young age. God speaks to you. Feel free to answer Him and let Him use you to fulfill His purpose. It will give you strength, peace and a lot of joy. God bless you! You are always in our prayers.

1st Sunday
Deaconboard to the Seniors: Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,
Dear Seniors: Hallelujah, you have made it already so far. It is a privilege to watch you all. Continue to run that race. Everything that is trying to hinder you on your journey, just have Jesus on your mind and kick that stumbling block out of your way. Continue to run that race. Perseverance has brought you this far. Perseverance will help you to stay on the right path. No matter what sin might temp you, do not let it happen. The Lord Jesus was, is and will be your strength to say no to sin. We are witnesses of what you have accomplished already and it is good to have such role models in our lives. Remember that God loves you. God’s love is the greatest gift and you have accepted it. God bless you and keep you!

August

5th Sunday
Deaconboard to the Church: Ephesians 1:16-17 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
Dear Church: Here we can learn a very valuable lesson from Paul. Paul sees how important it is to lift up others in prayer and this is exactly what he is doing. He thanks God for his fellow believers. In this Paul demonstrates the importance of thanking God and ceaseless prayer. And in addition to that, see what Paul is praying for: that we may receive the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. He is asking God that we grow in wisdom and that we can see the revelation about the Lord Jesus Christ. God Himself is the source of everything and it is comforting if we pay for each other for the things of God. God bless you church!

4th Sunday
Deaconboard to the Men: Deuteronomy 8:3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
Dear Men: Did you know that God wants you to call on Him in every situation in your life. He wants to be involved. Learn to depend on God. He wants every men to be humble before Him. Our life should teach us that we can trust Go and that He will be there at all times. Keep in mind that men does not live on bread alone. Men needs God in their lives, Men need the Holy Spirit for Guidance in their lives. Men need the Lord Jesus as a role model. Jesus was showing real strength whenever He was doing something for someone. The journey we take should be led by Jesus, If we are not led by Jesus we will remain in the wilderness. May God bless you and guide you. May your steps be ordered by the Word of God.

3rd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Women: Romans 12:9-13 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
Dear Women: Love is such a big word. Love is a very important word. It is one of the words that we need to understand, because it is the essence of God. The scripture say ‘Love must be sincere’. Let us learn more about God, about His nature, about who He really is. And let us receive His Love, because this is the kind of love that we need to share with others .It is the kind of love that is sincere. It is the love that will help us to be joyful in hope, Patient in affliction and faithful in prayer. Dear women God loves you so much. He wonderfully made you. Receive from Him and pass it on to others as that the special women that you are. God bless you!

2nd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Youth: Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Dear Youth: Today we want to share with you the importance of engaging with the Bible, the Word of God. The Word of God is alive and active; it means that the Word of God reveals to us the truth about Jesus. The word is alive because it daily teaches us new things about the Kingdom of God. It is active because it will continuously show you how to stay on the right path. The Word will help you to discern between good and bad. The Word of God will make you into what you should be, if you will let God enter into your hearts. The Word of God is sharper than a double edged sword, it will show you very clearly the difference between the truth about Jesus and the good intention He has for you, like being full of joy and peace and the things that are not good for you. Keep in mind that God loves you and only want the best for you. We love you also very much. God bless you and keep you.

July

4th Sunday
Deaconboard to the Men: Mark 10:26, 27 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? 27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
rDear Men: Sometimes we are encountered with challenges that seem impossible. They can be at the job, in the family or at church. Every time you feel like this is too much, remember what Jesus taught His disciples. Nothing is impossible with God. Involve Jesus in your challenges. He will direct you and show you exactly the right way how to handle the things that come up in your lives. Here in our scripture today the disciples wondered about who can be saved? Be assured that with Jesus you will be able to through the eye of a needle. He came so that you could have live everlasting. Why would he give you an impossible task? Take that courageous step forward and put your hands into His hands. Ask Him for help and He will give it freely. God loves you so much.

3rd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Women: Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Dear Women: The Word of God tells us in Nehemiah 8:10: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength. This verse is very important and we need to understand it. Joy is connected to strength. Once we seek the joy of the Lord (instead of happiness of the world that is not lasting) we can see with our own eyes how our strength will increase. Even the famous King David knew that in the presence there is fullness of joy and the apostle Paul told us to rejoice in the Lord. Both knew exactly what they were talking about and where the source of their strength was. Dear women, our verse today tells us that joy is medicine. Let us try our best to seek the joy of the Lord. It will heal us and will give us strength in every area of our lives. A heart full of joy will help us to stand against the schemes of the enemy. Joy is what we need. Jesus willingly gives it. Take it! God bless you.

2nd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Youth: Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Dear Youth: Keep the following information in mind: God loves you very much and He has a plan for you. In the book of John you can read that Jesus came so that you will have life and also have it abundantly. Ephesians shows you how you can do that. Ephesians tells you to take the helmet of salvation and the Sword of the Spirit. The minute when you confessed that you love Jesus, you received that Helmet and you also have the Sword of the Spirit available. The Helmet is important, because the enemy will try to play with your mind. Do not let him do that, but rather hold on to the love you have for Jesus. Hold on to it in every life situation, whether happy, sad, in a trial or in danger. God is there for you. Take use of the Sword of the Spirit. The Sword is God’s Word. Speak scriptures, you can do it loud or inside yourself. It will help you to stand and stay strong. This is God’s promise to you.

1st Sunday
Deaconboard to the Seniors: Proverbs 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
Dear Seniors: Children and young people very often imitate what they see. That’s why it is important to let out lights shine. Allowing youth to see our light shine can lead them to finding Christ. It is so important to share a smile or a friendly welcome. It can make a difference in someone’s life. We need to walk as an example. Just like Jesus was the best example, we need to try and be the best examples for the younger generations. The world can be very mean and a friendly smile or a friendly word can make the difference. Especially being a Christian. We need to spread positive good thoughts. We need to be good examples. God bless you for who you are in Christ.

June

3rd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Women: I Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Dear Women: Whenever you feel down or unworthy, STOPP right there. Keep in mind that God made you. God chose you. With Gods ‘grace you are where you are today. You are a blessed woman. Continue to faithfully follow Jesus. In Him you find everything that you need. In Him we can find rest, love, joy, happiness and peace. In Him we find the wisdom we need to live life, to raise our children, to be excellent on our jobs and to be the best in our homes. By the grace of God you are who you are. The Holy Spirit is right there to enable you to the special role that God has chosen you for. You are very special. God loves you very much. Hold on to His unchanging hand.

2nd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Youth: John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Dear Youth: One thing that you should keep in mind is that whatever decision you make today will shape your day tomorrow. It will shape who you will be tomorrow. Jesus says that He has come to give you life to the full. That means a rich and satisfying life. The thief only wants to steal from you. He wants to kill your faith and your joy. He will try everything to destroy your happiness. So the decision you make is very important. Will you follow Jesus? Do you want that full life? He is right there and He will help you to take the steps into the rights direction. Jesus loves you so much. Choose Him! Look deep into your heart. See how much space you give to Jesus. Let the space you give Him grow. He wants to be part of your life. Every day, every hour, every second of the day.

1st Sunday
Deaconboard to the Seniors: Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Dear Seniors: This week I came across this scripture in Proverbs and I had to think of you all immediately. This saying teaches us how important the heart is. God tells us that we need to keep our hearts with all diligence, meaning we need to watch over our heart with devotion and with energetic efforts. Reason is that out of the hearts comes life. Out of our hearts come our desires. God should always be in our hearts. Continue to hold on to Him. He is there and sees you. Tell Him your desires, your concerns, your praise, your worries, everything. Talk to Him and He is listening. Out of your hearts shall come praises that will talk about the Glory of God. Out of your hearts shall come life that comes from the Lord Jesus. May God keep you and comfort you. God loves you and is there to hold your hand. God bless you and keep you. He is your joy and you are His joy. Amen!

May
5th Sunday
Deaconboard to the Churcch: Ephesians 2:20-22 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Dear Church: The main job of the apostles and the prophets are to tell about the Word of God. Our foundation is the Word of God. We all have the same foundation. We are to come together to strengthen each other, to talk about the Word of God. We are to share our experiences with each other. We are to remind each other that Jesus Christ is our cornerstone. He Himself is the basis of our being. In Him we are together. In Him we are one. It is our job as individuals and as a whole to build each other up in the Word of God. Let us pray for more love for each other and more obedience to the Word of God. He loves all of us. We all have a purpose and we need to learn and continue in a life living with purpose. God bless you church!

4th Sunday
Deaconboard to the Men: Proverb 4:5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Dear Men: The Word of God says to put Him first. It is the first commandment. The book of Proverbs is filled with many wise words that King Solomon has received from God. In Proverbs 4:5 we learn that we should get wisdom and understanding. Get the wisdom that comes from God and try everything to gain knowledge. Wisdom is a result of learning more and more about God. It is important in every area of our lives to have wisdom and knowledge. The more spiritual wisdom you have and the more knowledge you have about God and His principles, the more knowledge and wisdom you will have for every part in your life. Continue to build your relationship with God. His rewards are right there for you to get. God bless you men of God!

3rd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Women: John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Dear Women: We have learned to know God through coming to church and reading His Holy Word. We pray to Him, because the Bible tells us that we need to pray to God. At the same time we need to know that God speaks back to us. He says: My sheep hear ma voice. We have to take time to hear what God is saying to us. We need to learn in this loud world to discern the voice from God, when He speaks to us. Expect to hear from God. Make your prayers meaningful with that expectation. God loves you so much, H will definitely answer you. Learn to have good conversations with God. Draw even closer to Him. He is the answer to everything. We pray that you feel His loving arms around you and the love that He is giving you. Receive it in the Name of Jesus.

2nd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Youth: Ephesians 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Dear Youth: It is a good thing to read Gods’ Word and to come to Church. At the same time we also have a responsibility to observe Gods commandments. We are to be more and more like Jesus. The words we speak should help to uplift others, they should help to make others happy and they should help to glorify God. That is why we need to be careful about that words that come out of ou mouth. Sometimes just a little good morning or a thank you can mean the world to the person you are saying it to. Therefore let helpful words that build others up come out of your mouth, according to their needs. God is there to help you with that task. May He bless you richly in the Name of Jesus.

1st Sunday
Deaconboard to the Seniors: Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Dear Seniors: No matter what age we are, we need to submit to God and to the things that He wants us to do. God wants everybody to have a renewed heart. God does not want us to conform to this world, but He wants us to be transformed and have a new mind. He wants our hearts and minds set on Him. He wants our love. Every day we need to start brand new and turn our all t God. He will surely lift us up and hold us in His loving arms. And in His arms everything is bearable. Continue to love the Lord God Almighty with all your strength. He is right there to help take one step at a time. He is a God full of passion and patience for His people. God bless you!

April
4th Sunday
Deaconboard to the Men: James 1:19-20 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
Dear Men: Sometimes we are just too fast. We need to remind us to listen to what others have to say. Before we speak, we should think about what we should say and how we should say something. Sometimes we say things without considering the impact on others. If we are true to ourselves, we could see that some of our issues could be solved or would not even arise, if we would be strict on listening to others. Be strict on thinking before we speak. If we start every day with God and involve Him into our daily activities, we can learn to make listening a habit. We need to let the righteousness of God control our mind and tongues. God is able. If we see that we fail in listening, we can turn it over to God and He will help. Amen.

April

3rd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Women: Psalm 42:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
Dear Women: We are really going through some stressful times. We have home office, we have home schooling, we cannot visit each other as we want to, we feel lonely, overloaded and maybe even anxious. Some of us may feel really unsure about ourselves. This is what David is speaking about in this Psalm. The best thing we can do to get away from negative feelings is to turn to God. Let us cry to God in prayer. He hears us and He can show us the steps we should take. Step by step God will guide us back to happiness, joy, contentment and a happy heart filled with true praises for God. He will lift up our spirit. Trust Him and take His hand He loves you very much.

2nd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Youth: Genesis 37:2 This is the account of Jacob’s family line. Joseph, a young man of seventeen, was tending the flocks with his brothers, the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives, and he brought their father a bad report about them.
Dear Youth: The bible is full of stories about young people like you are. Young people who love God and who are willing to take up responsibility. Joseph was only 17 when he was the overseer of a flock. Whenever you love God and you are ready to take a step forward, He will certainly give you what you need to step up. God will supply all you need. If you want to take responsible steps, He will empower you with the tools you needs. He is right there, take H hand and let Him help you to step out in boldness. You can do it. Trust in Him and trust in yourself. God made you wonderfully and you are very special and loved by God endlessly.

1st Sunday
Deaconboard to the Seniors: Psalm 96:3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
Dear Seniors: Continue to declare His Glory. Declaring His Glory is what will keep lifting you up. Declaring His Glory will continue to carry you. It is god to know you all; we enjoy every Word that you share with the younger generation. God has done marvelous things in your life. Continue to share your story. It will lift you up and at the same time it will encourage younger people to hold on to God’s unchanging hand. Thank you for your obedience to God’s Word. May He continue to bless you in a mighty way. Amen!

March

4th Sunday
Deaconboard to the Men: John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Dear Men: What comforting Words from the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus knew then, that He would be leaving soon and He reassured His disciples, that He will send a helper, a teacher, a comforter. That same Holy Spirit is still available dear men. He is there to keep teaching you and to bring back to remembrance everything the Lord Jesus has done, everything you have learned. He is there to be your Counsellor. The Lord Jesus send Him so that you can and should make use of Him. Let The Holy Spirit help you, guide you, love you, teach you and be there for all your concerns.

3rd Sunday
Deaconboard to the Women: Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Dear Women: Ladies, God bless you all for your inner beauty. The times that we are in now, reminds us how important it is to understand these 2 verses. God is always the same. Our environment constantly changes. Sometimes for the good but also very often for the worse. Remember you can trust God. He has got you safely in His arms. He knows the difficult times you have to endure but He is there. Know that you know! God is there. Acknowledge Him in all your ways. He will show you the way.

2ND Sunday
Deaconboard to the Youth: Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Dear Youth: I can’t help but say: Thank you God for the youth. The Bible, the Word of God says to not conform to the pattern of this world. Have a renewed mind. How can you get a renewed mind? One thing you should know and remember is that this is a process. The change starts inside. Give your all to Christ. Every day a little more. Try to understand God’s will for your life. Let your mind be used as an instrument by God. Let the Spirit show your mind the GOOD. Amen!

Deaconboard to the Seniors: Deuteronomy 31:8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Dear Seniors: Hallelujah. What a comforting reassuring Word from God. In our lives we go through many changes. When we age we find that many things are different, things change, they are new challenges. It is so good to know that somebody is always on our side. The Lord Jesus is taking every step together with u. We can trust this Word from God. He will be right there. This verse says so much about God’s love for us, about His heart for us. Dear Men: It is so important that men among each other are there for each other. Through the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit in you all you are set apart to do great works for God. Do not forsake the fellowship with each other to encourage each other and promote the Kingdom of God. Build each other up with the Word of God every time you meet or speak to one another. The Lord God Almighty loves you!

Deaconboard to the Women: Psalms 28:6, 7 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. 7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Dear Women: Bless the Lord because He is always there for the women. Whenever we cry to Him, He hears us. He is there for us 24/7. God is our strength. Whenever you feel weak, remember that God is your shield and He I definitely your help present all the time. Praise the Lord in and out of season and see that you will be lifted up in His strong arms. Have confidence that the Lord Jesus loves you. Take Gods hand and endure. Keep running that race to get closer to Gods Kingdom. Open your heart more a little every day. Take up that challenge and see all the good things that will happen.

Deaconboard to the Youth: Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Dear Youth: Use the Word of God. The Word is available for you to take advantage of it. Wherever you go or whatever you have to do, the Word of God is right there to give you the light that you need. The Word of God, the light will reveal to you the right way. The lamp will brighten the path that you are taking. We have a guide for everything. If you want to bake a cake, you look for instructions on how to bake it. If you want to build a Lego house you look for the book that will show you step by step on how to build it. If you want to know how to live your life, look for instructions in the Word of God. It is a guide for every step that you are taking. God loves you and means well to you. He will surely show you the right way. God loves you!

February 2021

1st Sunday
Deaconboard to the Seniors: II Thessalonians 3:16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
Dear Seniors: According to Webster’s, peace means: a state of tranquility or quiet; freedom from oppressive thoughts or emotions; harmony. Here in our scripture Paul is asking God to give the church peace. The Lord Jesus provides peace. You can find quietness in the Lord. The Lord helps you to be free from oppressive thoughts and emotions. Anything that pulls you down, talk to God about it and He will give you the freedom from these emotions. The Lord also provides harmony. May the Lord of Peace be with you in the Name of Jesus. May the Lord give you peace and free you from all negative emotions and turn them into positive healthy thoughts and emotions. God bless you and keep you!

January 2021

5th Sunday
Deaconboard to the Church: Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Dear Church: Hallelujah! Paul is speaking to the church. Paul is praying for the church that we will be filled with the Holy Spirit. He is praying that we have joy and peace in believing. Hold on to that joy and peace. It is very satisfying to believe in the Lord Jesus. Hold on to the Holy Spirit as He will help us to endure. Remember God is a God of hope. God is the one to give us meaning for that awesome life He gave us. Praise the Lord God Almighty!

4th Sunday:To the Men
Deaconboard to the Men: Psalms 118:6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
Dear Men: Live is very challenging, especially now with all that is going on in this world. We have a pandemic, we have people killing people, we have terrorist attacks, and many are losing their jobs and a lot more. It is now more than ever important to have a relationship with God. Reading the bible encourages you to keep going on, to keep having hope and most of all to hold on to your faith. Nothing that is threatening in this world shall harm you in the Name of Jesus. The Lord is on your side.

3rd Sunday: To the Women
Deaconboard to the Women: John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Dear Women: Let’s pray for each other this year that we will grow in the Lord. Jesus said ‘Abide in me’. What does that mean for women? Jesus desires for us to be fruitful. When we abide in Jesus, we can be fruitful, meaning we can grow in Him and pass our blessings on to others-meaning being a blessing to others. Without Jesus we cannot do it that is why we need to abide in Him. In order for the branch to bear fruit, it must receive from the vine. Ladies, God has a mission for us. Let’s pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit. God bless you!

2nd Sunday: To the Youth
Deaconboard to the Youth: Revelation 21:5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
Dear Youth: This past year has been rough. But keep I mind that it is gone. You have a new year now to look forward to. You can have a fresh start. Start this year with new strength in Christ Jesus. The Spirit will be there to guide you into this New Year. Just like the Bible said: He is making everything new. His Words are trustworthy and true. Every step you will take shall be blessed in the Name of Jesus. The things that God will do in your life are amazing. God loves you and His arms are wrapped around you to keep you safe. God bless you!

1st Sunday: To the seniors
Deuteronomy 34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
Dear Seniors: The things that God can do are amazing. If you look at Moses’ life, you would imagine that he should be exhausted and without any strength left after all that he was going through in his life. But with God it is possible to be strong up to old age. Keep your faith in Him. God is able. The year 2020 is gone. It is a new beginning. God has given us a new chance. Pray and He will supply all your needs according to His riches. God will renew your strength. God will keep you safe. God is your provider. God will be with you always. God loves you.

December 2020

3rd Sunday: to the women
Deaconboard to the Women: Psalms 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Dear Women: Always keep in mind to praise God. He has made you fearfully and wonderful. In Genesis God says: Let us make man and let us make them in our likeness. God’s work is awesome. Everything he has created is awesome. Every evening God looked at His creation and He said it is good. So always keep in mind that God made you good. Look for strength in Him and you will find it. Look for peace in Him and you will find it. Look for joy in Him and you will find it. Teach the same to your family. Share your strength, peace and joy with your family during this season. Remember Jesus is the reason for this season. Let’s Praise God, cause Christ our Savior is born. Hallelujah

1st Sunday: to the seniors
Deaconboard to the Senior: Psalms 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Dear Seniors: As the year is coming to an end, God has another Word for you. Remember that you shall not be in want, He will make you lie down in green pastures and He will lead you beside the still waters. God anoints your head with oil. He shall follow you all the days of your life.
It is of great comfort to know that God is right there. Never forget that. Hallelujah, He has brought you this far. It was a rough year, but with God on our side it was yet another good year. We are praying for your safety, for good health, for and strength to keep going the Lords way. God bless you all. It is an honor to know you!

November 2020

4th Sunday: to the Men
Deaconboard to the Men: Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Dear Men: The world offers so many things that look good to our eyes. But just like Daniel we need to think about it and reason whether it is good for us. The things of this world defile men. Just like Daniel we need to make up our mind and heart not to be part of the things of this world. In doing so we need to be bold, just like Daniel was. We need to purpose it in our hearts not to take part in the things that are not good for us. And just like Daniel grew stronger following Gods ways, you will grow stronger following Gods ways. Read the book of Daniel and follow God as he did. God is your keeper.

3rd Sunday: to the Women
Deaconboard to the Women: I Peter 3:3-4 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
Dear Women: Peter is explaining here what really matters. It is not our outside ladies. It is our inside that is beautiful. It is our inside we should work on most to make it even more beautiful. If we turn our hearts to Jesus, he can work on our inside. Other than the world would expect, God loves our meek and quiet spirit. Only a meek and quiet spirit can listen to what God is trying to say to us, trying to teach us, trying to show us and trying to give us. H wants us to receive His peace and His love. A beautiful woman will then pass that on to her family and her neighbors. God bless you awesome women of God!

2nd Sunday: to the Youth
Deaconboard to the Youth: Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Dear Youth: I would like to explain this verse to you. Imagine you get up every morning and run for half an hour and maybe 3 times a week you go and have practice for a sport you love. Let’s say it is basketball. You try your best to eat well also. To gain strength you also go to the gym and exercise as much as you can. You do that for weeks because you know that your team has a tournament coming up and you want to be at your best physical condition to play a good game. Once the tournament starts you see that all the efforts you put into practicing the past weeks was worth everything, because you are able to give your part to the game and do it well. It is the same with being a Christian and the Bible verse we are talking about today. If you keep doing good and if you keep following God and if you keep trying to make choices that are according to the Bible you will see that all your efforts are paying off, because you will be able to handle trials that will come your way. So do not be discouraged to follow God, know that in the end you will be the winner. God is always right there for you at your side. Be encouraged and feel good about yourself. You are awesome!

1st Sunday: to the seniors
Deaconboard to the Seniors: Psalms 71:18 Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.
Dear Seniors: You have and still are experiencing Gods great power in your lives. God is such an awesome merciful God. Looking back on our lives, we see all the miracles, all the goodness, all the strength and all the love of God that He has given unto us and is still giving. It is important that we pass on this great experience to the young generation. They do need our support and uplifting words that it can be done with the help of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you dear seniors for being there and thank you God for your unchanging love. God bless you!

October 2020

4th Sunday: to the Men
Deaconboard to the Men: Psalms 1:1-2 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Dear Men: It is very encouraging to read the Word of God. Keep in mind that the Word of God is a gift unto you dear men. You are Gods sons. Read the Word of God keeping in mind that you are the son and receive the wisdom that God has for you. Receive the guidance that God wants to give you. Receive the love from God that is unconditionally. God bless you!

3rd Sunday: to the Women
Deaconboard to the Women: Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Dear Women: Sometimes we doubt who we are. We feel all bad about ourselves, we do not feel good and we do not feel valuable. We look into the mirror in the morning and do not like what we see. Whenever you feel that way, read Ephesians 2:10-14 and see that you are Gods handiwork. He made you perfect the way you are. Find your peace in Him and not in physical makeovers. God loves who you are inside. You are near to God. And then look into the mirror again and see that you are made in the image of God. Who is God, God is love. You are full of love. So love yourselves and then you can share your love with others. God bless you!

2nd Sunday: to the Youth
Deaconboard to the Youth: I Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Dear Youth: Keep in mind that temptation will always be there, even for Christians. Sometimes our desire to sin can become bigger than doing what is right before God. God tells us in this verse that no temptation is bigger than what we can resist. You are strong enough to resist. There is always a way out. There is always a better way, God’s way. Jesus is right there to take your hand and lead you into the right direction. A direction that will lead you to more strength, peace and also being proud of yourself. You can do it. You can resist. God is right there for you, in the Name of Jesus!

1st Sunday: To the Seniors
Deaconboard to the Seniors: John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Dear Seniors: Peace is a very valuable thig in life. When you do not have peace, you become sick in many ways. Jesus knew how important peace is. Jesus said He will give His own peace to us. Always keep that in mind, Jesus gives it freely for you to take. Peace is so important for our mind, body and soul. Be sure to have the peace of Christ. Jesus is the one to turn to in all circumstances. He is the One to give peace in the midst of the storm. Praise Him with all your heart and let the blessings fall down right unto you. God bless you and keep you!
August 2020

1st Sunday: to the seniors

Isaiah 58:11 And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
Dear Seniors: And the Lord shall guide you in the Name of Jesus. Just like God was there guiding the Israelites, He is guiding you day and night, continually. He is the one to satisfy your soul. Continue to thirst after Christ Jesus and you shall be blessed (Matthew 5). You will be like a watered garden. Have you ever walked through a garden that was just watered? Everything in the garden looks fresh. Everything smells awesome and everything looks so beautiful. My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, hold on to God’s unchanging hand. His Word is wonderful and mighty and true.

June 2020

4th Sunday: to the men

Genesis 2:15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
Dear Men: Do not think that you are alone and need to handle everything by yourself. Always remember that God has a plan for your life. And He is right there at your side to assist you I fulfilling that plan. Rely on the Holy Spirits wisdom. Learn to listen to that voice of God. Take little steps forward. Make sure that every step you take is in the will of God. God loves you so much. He does not want you to be alone or fail. He wants you to be successful in all that you do. Seek Him and everything else will fall into place.

3rd Sunday: to the women

James 1:17-18: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, either shadow of turning. 18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Dear Women: Every good gift, every good thing in our life, we can find in Jesus Christ. His providence and His grace are perfect and more than enough. On the day we confessed that Jesus is our Lord, we received those gifts. Hold on tight to them. They are the ones that keep us running. In Him we can be assured that God does not change. He loves you yesterday today and tomorrow. He send Hs only Son to be the perfect sacrifice for you and for me. With that we received the truth. In Him we are new creatures. God cares so much about each one of us, that He cares enough to give us His son Jesus Christ. So whatever your need is, in Jesus it is available. God bless you.

2nd Sunday: to the Youth

I Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Dear Youth: You are chosen by God. You are all holy. That means each and every one of you is set apart, set apart unto God. Continue to let God change you more and more. Continue to do things that please God. Praise God every day. Every morning when he wakes you up, praise Him. Praise him for who you are. Praise Him for your family. Declare that you love Him. You will see that joy, love and peace can be found in Him. Remember that you are fully equipped. God provides everything that you need on your daily journey. Learn to listen to the Holy Spirit. God bless you!

1st Sunday: To the Seniors

Isaiah 46:4 Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
Dear Seniors: It is so comforting to know, that God formed us in our mothers wombs. He cares about every child and even says ‘Lt the children come to me’. At the same time the scriptures are very clear about it, that God still cares about people aging. God is carrying you, no matter what age you are, no matter how grey your hair is, no matter what the world may say about you. God is there to sustain you, meaning He is there to carry you, to still be on your side, to still give you joy, to still give you peace. He is there to still save. What comforting words. So my dear Seniors, hold on to God’s unchanging hands. He is still right there at your side and still loves you the same way. We love you all dearly and appreciate every one of you. God bless you!

May 2020

5th Sunday: To the Church

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Dear Church: It is at times like these, that we should remember that God loves us and because of that love we are not consumed. God’s mercies endure forever. Remember that we worship a risen Savior. Pray to God with thanksgiving and then present your request. And then the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. He has got us!!!

4th Sunday: To the Men

Palms 119:9-11 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. 10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. 11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Dear Men: It is important to seek the clean way. Whether you are a young man or an older man. The first important thing is to recognize that you have sinned and acknowledge that through the Lord Jesus there is salvation. Take the Bible as your chart. It will lead you throughout your whole life. The Holy Spirit will be there to help you to stay on the way that God intended for you. Read God’s Word. Keep God’s Word in your heart. Amen!

3rd Sunday: To the Women

I Timothy 3:11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
Dear Women: Our calling from God is very clearly stated in this verse. Let us be women worthy of respect. Doing right in the sight of God. Let us love our neighbors as ourselves. Let us be the women described in Proverbs 31. Let us speak good and uplifting words. Let us be faithful women unto God. The good thing in all of this is that God will never put more on us than we can bear. So God will surely give us what we need to be that kind of women that He will be pleased with. We just have to let Him be the Captain of our lives.

2nd Sunday: To the Youth

I Corinthians 16:13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
Dear Youth, it is indeed incredible to be a young Christian in the times we live in. God loves you so much and He has chosen you to spread the Good News amongst your generation. Serve Him with all your heart. Remember Him an all the things you do. God is blessing you tremendously. Stand firm and always be courageous in Christ Jesus. He is always there for you.

1st Sunday: To the Seniors

Deuteronomy 32:7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.
Dear Seniors, we are so grateful to have you amongst us. The wisdom you have gained throughout the years is of much value and we enjoy every minute that you are sharing with us on what God has given you. God has brought you this far because He loves you so much and His mercies endure forever. Thank you for sharing your knowledge that you have increased during your walk with the Lord. Continue to hold on to His unchanging hand. He is your joy, your strength, your all!

April 2020

1st Sunday: To the Seniors

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint
Dear seniors, the wisdom you have, the wisdom you have gained throughout the years is more precious than gold. Hold on to it, because your wisdom lets you know, that hoping in the Lord will renew your strength. It is your inner strength. The strength that comes from God. Have hope in things that come from above. Have you watched an eagle fly? Strong and mighty is he flying in the sky. And you, as your hope is in God shall soar on wings like eagles, rising closer and closer to God, running and not becoming weary, walking and not growing tired. Hallelujah!

2nd Sunday: To the Youth

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Gott liebt euch sehr.

3rd Sunday: To the Women

Proverbs 31:17, 18 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
Dear women, if God is for us, who can be against us. Proverbs 31 makes it very clear that with God even in times we live in right now, we can still show our readiness to do good works. We can still do everything with a cheerful heart, because we do it unto the Lord. Things done unto the Lord are good and will give you the reason to go on and on and be ready at all times to serve the Lord and to do good unto our families.
