Vision of Atterberry Chapel “A Multicultural Christian Church” (As revealed to Senior Pastor Eddie Dean Sumbler)
Atterberry Chapel “A Multicultural Christian Church” (formerly a military chapel) is a civilian Christian Church without any denominational support or connection (by choice) except through the bond of Christian love. Atterberry Chapel has its beginning in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. In 1995 Atterberry Chapel embraced a Vision which led it to amend its name to include the Identifier: “A Multicultural Christian Church”. Today, Atterberry Chapel conducts Christian Worship Services in English as a Multicultural Christian Church in Frankfurt am Main/Germany as well as in Clarksville, Tennessee/USA under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
The early Churches referred to in scripture were Multicultural Christian Churches (MCC) i.e. at Pentecost in Jerusalem (Acts.2:1-42); at Antioch in Syria (Acts 11:19-26) and so is the Philippians Church in Philippi (Acts 16:11-34). There is a blessed and ordained process for any active Denominational Christian Church body to amend its present heritage given Name and identity as “A Multicultural Christian Church”
The Holy Spirit of God began the expansion of the “Multicultural Christian Church, Concept of worship and vision for Mankind through Atterberry Ministries into the United States of America in 1998. The vision God has given Atterberry is “whosever will …” world [Mankind] vision. Since the “Tower of Babel” accounts in Genesis Chapter 11 God made himself, responsible for creating various cultures within his created world. He exercises control over (changed) the speech and tongues of men, separating them into various geographical locations out which came different cultures and habits. God’s plan has always been for his mankind (creation) to come to Him and He would be their God and they (Mankind) His people. (Gen.6:1-8)
In Genesis chapter3:24 states: So He drove out the Man [Mankind presence], and placed at the East of the Garden Cherubim (Angel) and a Flaming-Sword i.e. [a guiding Light; Truth; the word of God an extension of God in His Redemptive Son role as a Light to the world] turning every way and direction because His [Mankind] creation would one day return coming from every geographical direction and location to a prepared place for him. In the Garden of Eden, God placed a “Flaming Sword” [today we say word of God as a two-edged Sword (Heb.4:12-16). By His word, God’s plan to build Church as spoken of by Jesus Christ in Matthew Chapter 16 verses 18. His Church is to be without blemish (Eph.5:27). Amazingly, the Rock and the Stone Tower in the plains of Babel (Gen.11) that the Men of one language and tongue were attempting to build in the heavens as a memorial unto themselves, symbolically, is to be built a House of Prayer by God through Jesus Christ as His Church reaching from the earth to heaven as a “Good News Memorial” for men of what God did for all men while men were in sin. We cannot say Christ Church will be a Denominational Church by any means nor of any Non-Denominational Outreach persuasion.
But we all should agree Jesus Christ’s Church will be “A Multicultural Christian (Christ’s follower body of Born Again, baptized, Bible believing) Church”, invoking the [whosever will] policy. It is where sharing a common-bond “Next-Level” relationship through Jesus Christ is paramount and his Lordship transcends every cultural persuasion. [Read: Paul’s intimate “Next Level” desire Philippians 3:7-10] God entrusted His mankind representative (Adam) to give names to other living created life forms. The name given by Adam had within itself the power of God to be what its meaning represent and to function to fulfil the meaning thereof. Names blessed by God carry God’s authority, power and production Pumice. The “Multicultural Christian Church Concept” represents God’s Mankind Creation; black, brown, red, white or yellow. “The Christ” died for all nations. Therefore, His Church comes by the name it represents; Mankind. His Church comes as a Multicultural Christian body representing various Ethnicities, Nations and Tongues. His are those who choose Him above whatever their earthly cultural beliefs and doctrinal teachings advocate. They choose Jesus Christ and rise above culture, denomination, any organized body so named that doesn’t speak directly to a One –Accord; Common-Bond , Body under One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, having Jesus Christ as Lord. Therefore, the Multicultural Christian Church has many parts and a common accord body, where Jesus Christ is the Living Lord.
