The Atterberry Chapel – A Multicultural Christian Church is a flourishing and vibrant Worship Center located in Bockenheim, Frankfurt am Main – Germany. Most often, when one becomes known to others, there are habitual notions as to who that one is - one's ambitions, dreams and objectives. Below is an attempt to elucidate some of these habitual notions.

 

The Atterberry Chapel – A Multicultural Christian Church is led by Rev. Dorothy Smith Wilson.
 She is a native of Pensacola- Florida and daughter of Rev. Robert (deceased) and Mrs. Ollie Smith Sr.

 

Rev. Dorothy S. Wilson and Deacon Tyrone Wilson Sr. have been married for 41 years, and they have  two children: Tracy D. Wilson-Gillis (a Dental Assistant), Tyrone Wilson, Jr. (an Accountant) and an adopted daughter Cosmia Ricks Smith (a school teacher) all of Plano/Texas (USA). Her home is applauded with three splendid grandsons; Master Kadeem D. Wilson, Langston Jeremiah Wilson, Cayton Smith and two granddaughters Denise T. and Danielle N. Gillis.

Pastor Wilson is the Pastor of the Atterberry Chapel – an overwhelming and a thriving place of worship with 22 nationalities in Frankfurt, Germany since 1998. She is a student of Christian International School of Theology studying for a Master in Christian Counseling/Theology; Pastor Wilson is an honorary employee of the Frankfurt Prison’s Service with authorization for all Western European countries. Her service with the Prisons includes Pastor of a bi-weekly English Speaking Worship Service for those in this location with English as their first or second language and a quarterly combined service of all language’s adding Gospel Music.

She is an entrepreneur. Her commerce consists of: The150th Psalms Beauty Salon at two locations; Hainerberg and Wiesbaden Airbase-Wiesbaden, Germany. She is also a proficient contracted Instructor for AAFES to go where the Solders are stationed, to train workers for the Beauty and Barber shops.

 

Furthermore, she owns Avlon 150^th Psalm Beauty Supply and is the European Distributor of this product; manages and train at the Based office in Wiesbaden, Germany.

 

In addition, she has a record company/label - LoPhilBo Publishers, Inc., of Detroit, Michigan. Her Label carries six Gospel CD’s and numerous amount of sermons/DVD's along with her brother Rev. Robert (Bob) Smith Jr. and her gospel group "Gospel Express“. They are three time nominees by African Americans “Who’s Who Award” ITC Atlanta, Georgia.                                                                           

Rev. Dorothy S. Wilson without hesitation and with much enthusiasm responded to the undeniable call of the Lord and has ever since served the Lord and his Church exuberantly with great passion and zeal; Preaching, Teaching, Singing and God has allowed her to travel across the world, nationally and internationally to speak at various conferences and seminars.  She undertakes Missionary work in many countries including; Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Cameroon, Uganda, Sri Lanka and desire to reach many more for the Lord. Rev. Dorothy S. Wilson uncompromising teaching and her authentic sense of sincerity, lucidity, and humorous makes her unique individual and a great gift of God for this Church community.  

She simply loves doing God’s will; he gets all the Glory in her life!
